Ebay is fast becoming a beached whale!

As an online flea market ebay was a great concept, but as it has become top heavy with college wiz kids the focus seems to be on changing Ebay into the very thing it was designed to compete against. There is a old saying " too many cooks spoil the broth " Just as you are adjusting to one backward change another new guy comes out of no where who wants to make his or her mark on ebay and broad sides you with another senseless backward change. People are complaining about not making money on Ebay. Some say its the economy but that is not completely true. Maybe a small percentage but not the bulk. Ebay is loosing sellers left and right and along with sellers buyers, Why? 1. New feedback rules which allow a new member to ruin a sellers perfect feedback. 2. Denying a seller performance discounts with non verifiable DSR ratings. 3. Jacking up the FVFs 4. Prohibiting Checks, and Money orders. 5. Best match 6. Almost demanding sellers offer free shipping. 7. Form letter responses to every problem when in reality many problems are unique to the seller. 8. Protecting buyers from negative feedback they deserve. 9. Constantly hiring over paid inexperienced people to run Ebay who have no experience in actually selling on ebay and the problems sellers are faced with. 10. Always siding with the Buyers when the buyer cannot always be right. 11. A 5 star DSR rating system which is suspect at best because no one truly believes its the buyer who leaves these ratings and 4 stars is rated as poor peformance. 12. Absoulutely no seller protection on any issue that where the seller believes its competitors are involved in buying and leaving bad feedback. There seems to be no coherent system in place for Ebay members to be involved in the changes being made. I have emailed ebay with my concerns only to get either no response or a form letter response. I have given up on hopes of Ebay getting better and have focused on the hope of a new online flea market coming in to existance that will ultimately make Ebay just a bad memory of a sour taste in the mouths of so many people who depended on Ebay to make a living. I symphatise with those who relied solely on ebay for a living, but this is the time when they should begin to realize that Ebay has no loyalty to its sellers and Its on a steep down hill slide. Sellers should begin to look elsewhere for a vehicle to sell their merchandise, including creating their own web sites. The handwriting is on the wall and Ebays days are numbered. I say no better for them. Thats what you get for being stupid.
