Ebay Blues

I have been with Ebay since 1998. I loved the old Ebay. You know, the one where you had various payment methods, you could snipe an auction by out bidding in the last seconds of an auction. With all the changes in the past year or so, Ebay has become, in my opinion, a seller's only marketplace. It's no longer an online auction. Everything is geared for selling, and collection fees and payments asap. There is NO emphisis towards the Auctioner/Buyer experience any longer. Find something, click on buy it now, then pay now electronically. Selling also has become a hassle to me. I REFUSE to use PayPal. I have been burned hard by PayPal transactions TWICE. I have cancelled my PayPal account, and will NEVER open it again. So, for me, Ebay is no more, I can't sell, (no Paypal), and can't buy, (no Paypal), so why the heck stay on Ebay? I think it's past time to get the auction experience back.
