How do I choose the number of buttons on my tuxedo?

Traditional style tuxedos are typically manufactured with a 1 or 2 button front. These jackets have been regemended in the industry for many years and never seems to be phased out by the manufacturers. Highly regemended for a shorter gentleman. To achieve a more contemporary look you can opt for a style with a 3 to 6 button front. Here you will find the lapels are shortened down the front of the jacket to leave room for the extra buttons. These jackets are regemended for taller gentlemen with a thinner build. Keep in mind, jackets with 3 to 6 buttons can be found on many tuxedos today, however, they may not be very popular in the years to gee. If you plan on investing in a tuxedo with many years of use, we suggest opting for a style with either the 1 or 2 button closure.
