Buying a budget watch. The Good Stuff

Normally, we all look at the expensive watches such as Rolex, Omega etc... but the truth is that these watches are just for show. I am not saying they are bad,I am simply saying you can get the same quality, better time keeping, and better customer service for fractions of the price a Rolex will cost you. Before we begin let me just say I have spent lots of time on researching watches, and in most cases know what im talking about here. Before jumping to a certain watch, or anything for that matter, read reviews and check for alternatives.
Now, it depends on what you are looking forin a watch in order to buy one. I have a Rolex and a Casio G-Shock. I wear the G-Shock when im hiking, snowboarding, surfing, biking, work on some occasions, and anything else I do that won't involve getting into a suit. If you are looking for a watch with elegance, but will not fail you, in absolutely any condition you throw at it,for under $100.00 then I highly suggest you look at a Casio. Most Casio's gee with features on them such as Databank Memory, time zone, atomic clock (very nice), and a guarantee that says it is next to indestructible. Ask anyone who owns a G-Shock, they will swear buy it.
If you want a casual watchwithout the hefty price tag, then look no further. Seiko makes PERFECT elegant watches for any occasion. Their kinetic line is great for the person who likes to keep correct time, all the time. If I had to choose a Seiko watch, it would have to be the Kinetic Coutura SNP007. It is absolutely gorgeous, and because of the kinetic feature will never fail you. Seiko will give you the looks of a Rolex, for a fraction of the price.
Now, if you are willing to spend your money on a very expensive brand, then you might want to check out Omega and Breitling. The Breitling Navitimer is my favorite, not for function but because of it's looks. You will feel the difference in an expensive watch when you hold it and wear it, but it is honestly the same functioning watch offered by practically any other brand. Remember, Breitling and Omega are somewhat of the starting line for expensive watches, so when you see the price tag and are somewhat shocked, you might want to forget anything above it.
Other brands you might want to look at:
Diesel
Timex
Stuhrling
Fossil
Invicta
Lorus
Hope this helpedyou in making a decision.
