STARTING LINE-UPS

Remember when the card market got flooded and a lot of collectors began collecting starting lineups in the late 80's and early 90's. It was one of the hottest hobbies during that time. Collectors would literally camp out at stores waiting to purchase every box that came in making them so scarce that the average person never got to see them even hit the shelves. Collectors were also on waiting listswith Kenner so they could get them directly. There was some lineups that routinely sold for $400-$500 a piece. Now days you can pick them up on e-bay for less then they cost in the store. You will still find some pieces that still have some value and if you wanted to add to your collection this is the time to do it.
Considering the low amounts of lineups that were produced their value is sure to climb. As more and more people dispose of their collections the higher the prices will begee. If you are looking at a longterm investment some of the remaining higher priced lineups could prove to be quite profitable.
