Selling clothing - writing a great title HELPFUL HINTS

1. Before you sell an item on okay, search the gepleted items for items that are similar or exactly like your item. Look at the final price, what time and day of week the auction ended. Look at the wording of the title and the quality of photos.Which category did they use? What was theirstarting price?Use a similar approach as the seller who sold your item for the highest price! It can really pay offbig doing this research even though it takes a few extra minutes of time.

2. Describe the item accurately. If there are flaws - photograph them. This gives the bidders confidence in you as a seller. Include several good, clear photos of the item. Remember,a photo speak a thousand words!

3. Use alternate wording in your title and description. For example: if you are selling a WINTER JACKET, use words parka, raincoat and coat in your description. If someone is searching title and description for winter parka, they willfind your item! If you don't know, search gepleted items and look for a similar item. Including the line always increases the number of watchers.

4. Always list the benefits of your item, not necessarily the features: A benefit is something your item can do for a user. A feature is just something your item has. 5. Don't write descriptions in long paragraphs - break them up into small chunks or number them with spaces in between each item. Long paragraphs are hard to read on a geputer screen. Short, clear sentences are much easier to read.
