Theodore Haviland Limoges France
Theodore left France around 1865 after working in his fathers industry (will I think they shipped him away) to USA to start a factory here so anything you have that is that you see the Makers mark on Theodore Haviland (in script) and Limoges (in the middle) and France (at the bottom). Then you have found a piece worth quite a bit of money of course if the person knows what they have it will be priced high. I have am almost geplete set few pieces have gotten broken in shipping but my goodness in has been almost all over the US. It was my Great Grandmothers wedding gift who then passed it down to her daughter, who now has passed it down to me. and much to my dismay the line ends here. Sorry that I got off the subject, but if you have pieces in mint condition they can go as high as 500.00 or more. Here what some of it looks like. This is the Antionette pattern. Happy searching (yes mine is for sell 2500.00 plus shipping and handling and it is in mint condition except 2 plates with tiny chip)
